Program Cancellations and Modifications SAA-SDS reserves the right to modify and/or cancel programs due to: government action (local, state, or federal), epidemic/pandemic situations (including COVID 19), “acts of God”, and other circumstances beyond the School’s control. In such circumstances, no refunds will be given.
Additionally, minimum numbers have been set for each summer program. Every effort will be made to prevent cancellation of a program, however, in the event of such a cancellation due to low enrollment, a full refund will be made available.
Conduct and Dress Students are expected to behave appropriately and wear clothing deemed appropriate. Students should wear closed-toe shoes at all times. SAA-SDS reserves the right to remove anyone from its programs who exhibits disruptive behavior, behavior impacts the health and safety of a staff member or student, or inappropriate dress. No refunds will be given upon removal from the program.
Biting and Potty Training The Early Childhood Center school-year Biting Policy and Bathroom/Potty Training Policies are enforced in the summer months for all PK2-JK students.
Late Pick-Up Fees The program office is aware that unexpected events happen to all of us. Therefore, the first late pick-up (after 4:00 p.m.) is excused. On the second late pick-up, a fee of $1.00 per minute, per child, will be assessed. The third late pick-up will be assessed a fee of $5.00 per minute, per child. After the third late pick-up, the student will be removed from the program.
Lunches/Snacks/Peanut-Free Campus All morning and afternoon snacks and lunches will be brought form home. SAA-SDS is a peanut-free campus. Any lunches and snacks brought to Summer Programs must adhere to this policy.
Allergies & Medical Conditions It is extremely important that the Program Staff be made aware of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect your child's camp experience. You must provide the Summer Program Staff with all information and medications necessary to ensure your child's safety.
